Mother's Day Gift Guide

It’s almost the most important day of the year.  Mother’s Day.  Yes, the mamas in your life are pretty special and they deserve all the love every day, but why not make them feel a little extra special this Mother’s Day?!

If you aren’t sure what to get the mom in your life, I have you covered.  I put together a list of my top 5 go-to items for the moms out there- the Chef, Workout, Morning Routine, and Spa Moms.  All of these items are things I use regularly (if not daily) and will help you make your Mother’s Day a healthy one.

Now, as a mom, I can confidently say that what I would love for Mother’s Day would be a trip to a secluded island somewhere where no one would talk to me and someone would just bring me drinks to drink and books to read (kidding… kind of).  But, since that’s likely not in the cards, I put together some more attainable gifts I think your mom will love.  Gifts that say I see you, I appreciate you, and I hope you know how much I love you.

I hope you find something great!

Oh, and if you are a mom reading this… make sure you “accidentally” send this link to everyone in your life that might need a little help buying you something this year.

Happy Mother’s Day!

For The Chef Mom

If your mom loves to cook, she is going to love these 5 gifts.  Make her time in the kitchen even more enjoyable this year!

Thermapen Thermometer:  This thermometer has changed the game for us.  It is a must have in the kitchen for getting meat, fish, and chicken to the right temperature without overcooking or undercooking.  The quality is amazing and it’s so worth it.

A Great Knife:  A sharp, great quality knife is everything in the kitchen and the chef in your life will thank you for this one.

Oven Mitts:  Specifically these oven mitts.  They are amazing, work like a charm and don’t get all gross like the cloth ones I had before.

Fish Spatula:  For when you want that good sear and all the golden-brown deliciousness that comes with it.  This spatula is my go-to whenever I am cooking.

Celtic Sea Salt: The finishing salt will take your meals to the next level.  Not to mention, this salt can do double duty if you sprinkle it in some lemon water for a great boost of minerals and electrolytes in the morning.

The Workout Mom

For the mom who loves to workout, is committed to her health and fitness, and loves to move and sweat, these gifts will make her day.

The Best Leggings:  If you or your mom love Lululemon leggings but don’t want to spend a zillion dollars, these are the next best thing.  A fraction of the price, but seriously just as good.

Electrolytes:  Help mom replenish all those electrolytes she’s sweating out in her workouts so she can be her best, most energetic self.

Hydroflask:  Speaking of hydration, make staying hydrated super easy, and super cute with these Hydro Flask water bottles.

Hypervolt Massage Gun:  Mama needs a massage.  This massage gun has changed the game for us over here after our workouts.  It will help mom work out all those knots and keep her muscles feeling great so she can crush her workouts.

The Greatest Socks Ever:  These socks feel like you are walking on a cloud.  And like they are giving your feet a big hug.  Give your moms feet a hug without giving your moms feet a hug.

The Morning Routine Mom

If your mom needs a cup of coffee, or matcha, before she can take on the challenges of mom life each day, these gifts will hold a special place in her heart.

Coffee Grinder:  I use this coffee grinder every day and it gives that coffee shop feel right in your own kitchen.  The smell of freshly ground coffee beans will make your mom one happy lady.

Hot Water Kettle:  To go with her new coffee grinder, she’s going to need a hot water kettle to make her morning cup of coffee utter perfection.

Pour Over Coffee Pot:  Seriously, there is nothing like a perfectly poured cup of coffee.  Yeah, the Keurig is fast and convenient, but if you know your mom values a quality cup of coffee (and not drinking plastic- just sayin), this is the way to go.

Matcha:  If coffee is not her thing, that’s cool too.  She might love matcha.  Not only is it full of so many antioxidants and health promoting benefits, but making matcha adds something special to your morning routine.

Matcha Whisk and Bowl:  Finish off her matcha experience with the whisk, bowl, and scoop she’ll need to make it authentic and delicious.

The Spa Mom

Who doesn’t love a day at the spa?!  If you can’t send your mom to the actual spa this year, give her the next best thing and create an at-home spa experience with some of my favorite self-care, spa-like items.

Lavender Epsom Salts:  Set your mom up with a luxurious, relaxing bath that will help her wind down and sleep like she did before she had kids.

Jade Facial Roller:  I know what your mom doesn’t want for Mother’s Day – wrinkles.  This facial roller not only feels amazing (bonus points for putting it in the freezer before you use it), it also helps stimulate the lymphatic system, boost collagen, and do all the good things us moms need our faces to do with minimal effort.

Clay Mask:  Nothing says spa day like a clay mask.  This one in particular is great at pulling out all of those impurities and making your mom glow like the star she is.

Cocokind Face Serum:  This Vitamin C serum is one I have recently started using and it is aaamazing.  I am loving it and I have a feeling your mom will too.  This brand is committed to making super clean, great quality products and this one does not disappoint.

Coco Kind Matcha Moisturizer:  To finish off her day at the spa, give your mom a moisturizer that will make her skin feel healthy, dewy, and hydrated.
