The Template You Need To Transform Your Health

Imagine something you really, really want.  Go ahead. I’ll give you a second.

You would do anything to get it.  You’re absolutely determined to achieve it or acquire it no matter what.  It is going to be yours one day.

Now, imagine yourself standing on the edge of a cliff with a huge expanse below you.  Just off in the distance on the other side of the ravine is that thing you want so badly.

And you have no idea how to get to it.

There’s no simple way to get there and you realize in that moment that it’s going to take some work to get that thing you want so badly.

You have a few options.  1. Give up and walk away, never achieve it, and accept that you never will.  2. Stay exactly where you are just staring at it and hoping it will magically appear in front of you (it won’t).  3.  Figure out a way to get there.

If you’re the type who’s going with #3, then you’re going to need a plan.  A solid, sound plan of action.

In addition to a rock solid plan, you’re also going to need a few other things as well.

  1. Determination.  You’ll to need to be so determined that you refuse to give up. Keep going even when it’s hard.

  2. Acceptance. Accept that parts of it will be hard and you are probably going to fail along the way.  Decide that instead of seeing it as a failure, you’ll look at it as an opportunity to learn and improve your plan.

  3. Adaptability.  Change on the fly as you go.  If something’s not working, be willing to try something new.

  4. Tools.  However you plan to get there, you’re going to need the right tools for the job.  Physical tools, educational tools, materials, the works.

  5. Some help.  Accept that at some point, you might need some help.  Whether that’s hiring people who know more than you in the area, seeking the help of friends and family to keep you motivated, or someone to hold you accountable to get there.  Use the resources and support that you have.

Let’s say you’re going to build a bridge to get there.  You’re going to have to get to work planning what it’s going to look like, how many boards you’ll need, what tools you’ll need, how many nails, where they’re going to go, how you’re going to support it the whole way there.  And so on.

You’re creating an intention around what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and how it’s going to get done.

And then, get to work.  Every board has to be placed in the right spot, every nail has purpose.  You wouldn’t just start shooting nails all willy-nilly and hope they hit the mark.  No, you work with purpose, patience, and persistence until you get to the other side.

The same thing goes for your health.  You have goals.  You want to lose weight, get rid of your gut symptoms, have energy again, feel great and confident in your own body, ditch the burn out train you’re riding and take control back of your life and your health.

Those goals feel so far off and are on the other side of your imaginary cliff. So, you’re going to need a plan to get there.  You can’t just think about it and hope it magically happens (it won’t).  You have to do the work.

But here’s the best part.  When you have intention around what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and how you’re going to get there, the work gets so. much. easier. You work from a place of clarity and purpose.

Every choice you make lines up with that intention, every step you take leads you to that goal.  Every conscious decision you make is another well-placed nail on the board you laid just right.  It all lines up, and while it might take some time, you’re working your way towards your goals one choice at a time.

That’s where I come in.  I can give you the plans, the blueprint, the template for the bridge.  I can show you how to get from where you are to where you want to be.  You’re going to have to do the work, and I’ll be right there with you, but when you have a plan, the work gets so much easier.

I also created 10 Minutes of Intention as a tool to help you start living each day with intention.

If you’re ready to get to your goal, to feel better, to have more energy, to lose the weight once and for all, to ditch your symptoms, and take control of your health, then it’s time to get really intentional about the choices you’re making.

I would love to help you do just that.

Mind Your Metabolism is the blueprint for your bridge.  It helps you visualize what’s on the other side and gives you the template and the tools to get there, one choice at a time.

As your 1:1 coach, I will pick up the hammer and start working with you to get you where you want to be.  I’ll be there on the days you don’t feel like doing it to remind you what you committed to and why.  I’ll help guide you every step of the way as you do the work to transform your health.

You deserve to reach your goals, to feel your best, and to live your healthiest, happiest life. It’s time to take the next step.
